Doug Bloom

R.I.P Alan Beach.  was one of our three Co-Founders and was previously our Musical Director until mid 2018. When not deputising as Conductor Alan sang  with the Choir as Chorister, Second Tenor. Alan  had a long and interesting career in the music industry ranging from singing at the Queen’s Coronation in 1953 with Eton College Choir School, singing professionally with a Group named “The Countrymen”, being Chorus Master and later Musical Director for “My Fair Lady” at the London Palladium and he was also a Guitarist.

He did so much in promoting the choir in the in the early years to the present day .

Alan was a very freindy, sociable and knowledgable man and unforgetable to everyone he met , he will be greatly missed by all his freinds and family
